Photoroom, a leading visual solution for e-commerce, invites a Senior backend engineer to own the pricing system across all apps. You will collaborate with product and engineering to deliver pricing architecture and growth initiatives, iterating quickly with frequent backend updates.

The role focuses on designing scalable pricing endpoints, improving latency, and ensuring reliable deployments for millions of users while leveraging Django and REST Framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience with relational databases at scale; design schemas and run migrations with minimal downtime.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS/subscription management (Stripe, RevenueCat).
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases larger than 100 GB.
• Ability to design endpoints in collaboration with frontend engineers; provide OpenAPI specs and supporting docs.

Responsabilités

• Own the pricing system architecture and implementation across all apps (iOS, Android, Web, API).
• Deliver pricing-related product growth initiatives and architecture improvements.
• Collaborate with product and frontend/backend engineers to design seamless user experiences.
• Monitor releases and performance; optimize endpoints to reduce latency and scale with usage.
• Provide pragmatic, fast iteration while leveraging existing frameworks to avoid reinvention.
