Photoroom seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to own the pricing system for all apps at Photoroom. You will help deliver Product Growth initiatives and pricing architecture while collaborating with engineers and product owners.

You will own the delivery and the architecture of the pricing system used by all products (iOS, Android, Web, API) and millions of users, with fast feedback and iterative improvements. Paris hybrid, strong growth trajectory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience with relational databases at scale (PostgreSQL/MySQL), designing schemas and migrations.
• Experience scaling SaaS and subscription management (Stripe, RevenueCat).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases larger than 100 GB.
• Experience designing endpoints in collaboration with frontend engineers, delivering OpenAPI and docs.
• Pragmatic, fast iteration mindset; leverages frameworks to avoid reinventions.
• Strong ownership and ability to make product/technical decisions.
• Fluent in English; French not required.

Responsabilités

• Own the pricing system architecture and delivery across iOS, Android, Web, and API.
• Collaborate with product and engineers to deliver growth initiatives and pricing features.
• Monitor releases’ performance using Datadog and iterate based on telemetry.
• Improve endpoints and latency to scale with growing usage.
• Own end-to-end from architecture to deployment and monitoring.
