BlaBlaCar is seeking a Confirmed Backend Engineer to join the Care team responsible for Phoenix back-office system. You will design, build, and operate backend services enabling customer relations and data flows across train, carpool, and bus lines.

You will work with a small multi-stack team and collaborate with CRT and product managers to deliver robust, scalable solutions, while mentoring others and upholding high code quality.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in engineering-driven growth environments.
• Strong Java knowledge and software architecture foundations.
• Hands-on with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring (Datadog).
• Extensive experience building, deploying, and operating backend microservices.
• Product-focused mindset and ability to balance business and tech needs.
• Comfortable making technical choices and trade-offs.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and evolve BlaBlaCar Backoffice services.
• Maintain claim management and reporting features.
• Own substantial features from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to translate needs.
• Mentor through code reviews and improve code quality.
• Document solutions and ensure APIs are well understood by consumer teams.
