BlaBlaCar in Paris is seeking a Confirmed Backend Engineer to join the Care team. You will contribute to Phoenix, BlaBlaCar's unified back-office, enabling customer relations agents to work efficiently by aggregating data from the platform and providing action capabilities such as account blocking and moderation.

Work in a small multi-stack team, collaborating with CRT and PMs to design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, and tooling for the backoffice, with a product-focused mindset and

Qualifications

• Solid experience from companies with strong engineering culture in a growth context.
• Strong knowledge of Java language and ecosystem with solid software architecture foundations.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions (Datadog).
• Significant experience building, deploying, and operating Backend microservices in production.
• Value a product-oriented mindset and delivering business impact when designing software.
• Comfortable making technical choices balancing business needs with constraints.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and evolve the BlaBlaCar Backoffice services.
• Maintain strategic user features like the claim management and reporting systems of the BlaBlaCar platform.
• Take full ownership of substantial features, from design and deployment to monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other engineers to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Uphold and improve the team's code quality standards, providing feedback through code reviews.
• Document the solutions we build and ensure APIs and services are understood by consumer teams.
