Job summary

Skywise, a leading digital services company owned by Airbus, seeks a Safety & Quality leader to manage SMS, define safety objectives, and drive risk management across functions. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, conducting root-cause analyses, and promoting a strong safety culture within a hybrid work setting in Toulouse.

You will interact with operational teams and management to ensure compliance with ICAO/ATM standards and maintain ISO27001/AS9100-related processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Safety, Quality, Operations, or Engineering in aviation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (PPS, 5 Whys, PFMEA).
• Fluent English, written and spoken; official working language.
• Knowledge of aviation approval environments (ATM/ANS 2017/373, eTSO) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ICAO Annex 19 and SM-0001; AS9100/ISO27001 auditing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Skywise SMS network across all functions and products and update safety letters.
• Define Safety Objectives based on Skywise products & services.
• Perform risk assessments evaluating severity and likelihood per risk criteria.
• Coordinate multi-functional teams for root cause analyses and mitigation actions.
• Escalate critical safety risks to upper management when needed.
• Promote safety culture and communicate lessons and best practices.
