Textron Aviation, based at Le Bourget, France, seeks a Safety Management Specialist to develop and oversee the Safety Management System for its Part 145 Repair Station and Part-CAMO activities. You will coordinate with the ESCAR, drive safety improvements, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in aviation safety and airworthiness, plus a technical degree or cert. Strong communication and leadership are essential for leading audits and safety training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant aviation experience in Continuous Airworthiness Management or Aircraft Maintenance.
• Technical degree or certification as aircraft certifying staff.
• Knowledge of ICAO, European safety requirements and Just Culture principles.
• Strong communication and process management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive SMS for Part 145 and Part-CAMO operations.
• Measure and improve SMS effectiveness and safety policies.
• Analyze accidents and exposures; implement corrective actions.
• Organize Safety Committee meetings.
• Lead safety training programs and hazard communication.
• Promote Just Culture and open reporting.
• Advise on safety compliance with regulations.
• Lead environmental compliance efforts and liaise with authorities.
• Support Compliance Monitoring Manager with audits and corrective actions.
