Interpath Advisory France is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Transaction Services team in Paris and deliver deal advisory for top-tier clients. You will work with Managing Directors and Managers in an entrepreneurial environment to build a leading France practice.

The role spans the full deal life cycle, including buy-side and sell-side, with responsibilities in drafting Financial Due Diligence reports, earnings analysis, and client relationship building.

Qualifications

• Top tier business or engineering school with Bac+5 in accounting, finance or economics.
• Minimum 2 years of transaction services experience at a Big4 or equivalent.
• Experience in Audit is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong team spirit.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Draft Financial Due Diligence reports including historical performance analysis.
• Assess Quality of Earnings and adjust earnings for one-off items.
• Analyze Net Working Capital drivers and establish a benchmark.
• Identify debt-like items from balance sheet and off-balance sheet items.
• Evaluate forecasts and risks using historical data and pipeline.
• Support client meetings and day-to-day FDD tasks.
• Help build and maintain client relationships for Interpath France.

We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to form part of the founding team of Interpath Advisory France.

We are looking for a talented Senior Associate to join in our Transaction Services team in Paris and deliver Transaction services projects for an exciting mix of clients including top tier Private Equity and Corporate clients.

You will be working closely with Managing Directors and Managers in a truly entrepreneurial work environment, setting up and developing a leading Deal Advisory practice in France alongside bright and energetic people.

You will work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work, helping clients to deliver successful transactions working closely alongside our corporate finance and debt advisory colleagues across the Interpath network.

On top of that, you will be encourage to mentor our analysts and associates in accordance with our values.

Key Accountabilities:

Drafting of Financial Due Diligence reports including but not limited to:

• Historical performance analysis
• Quality of Earnings: Helping the client identify one-off income costs which should not be considered within underlying earnings.
• Net Working Capital “NWC”: Identify the drivers of the evolution of NWC over the historical period and establish a NWC benchmark (peg)
• Identification of debt like items from review of balance sheet and off-balance sheet arrangements
• Forecasts: Analytical skills to critically assess a target’s forecast and identify potential risks and upsides, based on historical trends, sales pipeline etc
• Participating in meetings /conference calls with clients/target company management and serve as a secondary point of contact with respect to day-to-day FDD execution matters
• Be actively involved in building and maintaining client relationships as well as promoting Interpath Advisory France.

• Top tier business / engineering school or university (Bac +5) with a focus on accounting, business, finance or economics
• A minimum of 2 years of transaction services experience at a top accounting firm (Big4 or equivalent)
• Experience in Audit is a plus
