Interpath Advisory France in Paris seeks a Senior Manager or Associate Director to lead our Transaction Services team on exciting deals with private equity and corporate clients.

You will work with Managing Directors in an entrepreneurial, growth-focused environment, delivering buy-side and sell-side due diligence, assisting business development, and mentoring junior staff across the Interpath network.

Qualifications

• Bac+5 in accounting, business, finance or economics from a reputable school.
• Minimum 6–8 years of audit and transaction services experience at a Big4 or equivalent; at least 4 years in transaction services.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a collaborative, client-facing environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proven ability to support project teams.

Responsabilités

• Draft FDD and VDD reports including quality of earnings and working capital considerations.
• Identify debt-like items from balance sheet and off-balance sheet arrangements.
• Assess target forecasts and risks using historical trends and pipeline data.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and strengthen relationships.
• Support business development strategy with Managing Directors.
• Mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.

We are looking for a talented Senior Manager or Associate Director to join in our Transaction Services team in Paris and deliver Transaction services projects for an exciting mix of clients including top tier Private Equity and Corporate clients.

You will be working closely with Managing Directors in a truly entrepreneurial work environment, setting up and developing a leading Deal Advisory practice in France alongside bright and energetic people.

You will work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work, helping clients to deliver successful transactions working closely alongside our corporate finance and debt advisory colleagues across the Interpath network. As an Associate Director, you will be instrumental in sharing our values with the team and clients while helping us in every aspect of business development and team mentoring.

Key Accountabilities

Drafting of FDD and VDD reports including:

• Quality of Earnings: Helping the client identify one-off income costs which should not be considered within underlying earnings
• Net Working Capital "NWC": Identify the drivers of the evolution of NWC over the historical period and establish a NWC benchmark (peg).
• Identification of debt like items from review of balance sheet and off-balance sheet arrangements
• Forecasts: Analytical skills to critically assess a target's forecast and identify potential risks and upsides, based on historical trends, sales pipeline etc
• Effectively manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships and emphasize our capabilities to clients
• Be actively involved in our business development strategy alongside our Managing Directors
• Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers

Requirements

• Business / engineering school or university (Bac +5) with a focus on accounting, business, finance or economics
• A minimum of 6-8 years of audit and transaction services experience at a top accounting firm (Big4 or equivalent) with a least 4 years in transaction services
• Entrepreneurial mindset and team spirit required
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in supporting project teams/relationships and communications with clients
• Experience across multiple sectors
• Experience in go to market whilst driving business development strategy
