Interpath Advisory is building its France practice in Paris and seeks a Senior Manager or Associate Director to deliver Transaction Services on an exciting mix of clients, including top-tier PE and corporate clients.

You will work closely with Managing Directors, developing a leading Deal Advisory practice in France, and be involved in business development and mentoring across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/master level education in accounting/finance/economics or related field (Bac +5).
• Experience leading transaction services for deals including FDD/VDD.
• Strong client communication, presentation and mentoring capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Draft FDD and VDD reports, ensuring accuracy of earnings and NWC drivers.
• Lead day-to-day client interactions and support business development activities.
• Mentor Associates and Senior Associates; collaborate with MDs on deal strategy.

We are looking for a talented Senior Manager or Associate Director to join in our Transaction Services team in Paris and deliver Transaction services projects for an exciting mix of clients including top tier Private Equity and Corporate clients.

You will be working closely with Managing Directors in a truly entrepreneurial work environment, setting up and developing a leading Deal Advisory practice in France alongside bright and energetic people.

You will work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work, helping clients to deliver successful transactions working closely alongside our corporate finance and debt advisory colleagues across the Interpath network. As an Associate Director, you will be instrumental in sharing our values with the team and clients while helping us in every aspect of business development and team mentoring.

Key Accountabilities:

Drafting of FDD and VDD reports including:

• Quality of Earnings: Helping the client identify one-off income costs which should not be considered within underlying earnings.
• Net Working Capital “NWC”: Identify the drivers of the evolution of NWC over the historical period and establish a NWC benchmark (peg).
• Identification of debt like items from review of balance sheet and off-balance sheet arrangements
• Forecasts: Analytical skills to critically assess a target’s forecast and identify potential risks and upsides, based on historical trends, sales pipeline etc.
• Effectively manage day-to-day client interaction and relationships and emphasize our capabilities to clients.
• Be actively involved in our business development strategy alongside our Managing Directors
• Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.

• Business / engineering school or university (Bac +5) with a focus on accounting, business, finance or economics.
• A minimum of 6-8 years of audit and transaction services experience at a top accounting firm (Big4 or equivalent) with a least 4 years in transaction services
• Entrepreneurial mindset and team spirit required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in supporting project teams/relationships and communications with clients.
• Experience across multiple sectors.
• Experience in go to market whilst driving business development strategy.
