Spendesk is seeking a Principal Product Manager to shape AI-driven value for customers and Spendesk, working across squads rather than within a single team. You will join the AI & Data Products squad to build AI features and agents, improving speed, reliability, and business outcomes.

This is a senior individual contributor role with influence, strategy, and governance across multiple areas, not relying on formal authority or direct reports.

Qualifications

• Extensive product management experience across complex products, platforms, or cross-functional systems.
• Shaping strategy beyond a single squad into sustained customer and business outcomes.
• Experience with AI, ML, automation, or data products; understanding model capabilities and data dependencies.
• Strong judgement in ambiguity; ability to simplify complex problems and stakeholder landscapes.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to align senior leaders and drive action.
• Proven influence without formal authority.
• Ownership of quality, trust, and security in product decisions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to explore fundamental, uncharted problems.

Responsabilités

• Define durable AI product direction across several product areas, connecting customer problems, priorities, and commercial opportunity.
• Identify consequential problems spanning multiple squads and frame them into focused bets.
• Qualify where AI genuinely adds value over deterministic automation.
• Make trade-offs visible across value, adoption, quality, risk, data readiness, capacity, and opportunity cost.
• Own outcomes end to end: baselines, targets, launch, adoption, and post-release learning.
• Bring coherence to a portfolio of agents, AI features, and shared data foundations.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Security, Finance, and GTM to clarify ownership and dependencies.
• Multiply other PMs and squads through reusable principles and clear product narratives.
