Alignerr is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure) for a fully remote hourly contract in France. You will design, build, and scale infra powering AI products used by millions, with autonomy and meaningful ownership.

Expect cross-functional collaboration with ML researchers and engineers, and impactful architectural challenges. You bring 5+ years in software engineering, strong backend and cloud experience, and proficiency in Python/TypeScript/Go.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, TS/JS, Go, Java).
• Experience building backend services, APIs, or data-intensive apps.
• Comfort with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containers.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and async collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software for AI pipelines.
• Write clean, well-tested code in Python, TypeScript, or other modern languages.
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services at scale.
• Architect solutions balancing delivery speed with long-term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud infra.
• Collaborate asynchronously with ML engineers, researchers, and PMs.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Work independently on well-scoped projects with ownership.
