Job summary

Mendo is building an AI Transformation Platform for enterprises. The role focuses on owning the AI roadmap, setting standards across squads, and training and operating proprietary language models, including on-device solutions.

You will mentor teammates and help grow the AI practice while delivering measurable business value. You will report to the AI practice lead and work in a hybrid setup with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote in Paris.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ML/AI engineering experience with production-grade models.
• Proven technical leadership in setting engineering standards and architecture decisions.
• Hands-on with LLM fine-tuning, RAG, and embeddings, and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI roadmap and prioritise initiatives with product and engineering leads.
• Set and enforce evaluation standards, regression tests, and MLOps practices across squads.
• Train, evaluate, and operate proprietary language models, including on-device models.
• Grow the AI practice by mentoring teammates and guiding hiring decisions.
