Job summary

Mirakl is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale AI systems powering intelligent commerce. You will work across Software Engineering, ML, and Generative AI to deliver AI-native products and agentic capabilities for Mirakl customers and internal teams.

This freelance role is based in Paris or Bordeaux with one remote day per week. You will design end-to-end AI stacks, integrate with internal tools like CRM and data platforms, and drive measurable business impact through pilots

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software/ML engineering or related fields.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems using LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience designing multi-step agentic workflows and retrieval systems.
• Experience deploying and operating production services in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems for Mirakl internal operations.
• Integrate AI systems with internal platforms and data sources across the company.
• Iterate with end users and engineers to measure business impact and improve performance.
• Implement evaluation, guardrails, and monitoring for secure, reliable AI solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered workflows and establish reusable frameworks.
