Job summary

Mirakl is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and scale production-grade AI systems at the intersection of Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Generative AI. You will develop AI-native products, agentic capabilities, and platform features used by Mirakl customers and internal teams.

This freelance role is based in Paris or Bordeaux with 1 day of remote work per week, offering hands-on ownership from concept through deployment and close collaboration with product, data science

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems using LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems for Mirakl internal operations.
• Integrate AI systems with internal platforms and data sources.
• Iterate with end users and engineers to measure business impact and improve AI reliability.
