Job summary

Mirakl is seeking a Senior Agent Builder to design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems that power the next generation of intelligent commerce. You will work at the intersection of Software Engineering, ML, and Generative AI to create AI-native products and agentic capabilities used by Mirakl customers and internal teams.

This freelance role is based in Paris or Bordeaux with 1 day of remote work per week, offering opportunities to impact enterprise-scale AI in a global marketplace

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software/ML Engineering or Applied AI.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on production AI systems experience with LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience designing multi-step agentic workflows and retrieval systems.
• Experience deploying production services in cloud environments.
• Strong English communication.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and passion for AI products.
