Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse is seeking an Aerodynamics Engineer to lead performance modelling campaigns through CFD and flight tests up to aircraft certification.

You will coordinate deliverables across Aerodynamics disciplines, develop accurate prediction methods for future concepts, and deploy machine learning to accelerate design iterations. The role offers strong development pathways and international mobility opportunities.

Qualifications

• Background in Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid technical background in aerodynamic modeling, flight mechanics, and CFD methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python programming with exposure to data science and machine learning/AI.
• Proven leadership with strong decision-making, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Advanced English, written and spoken; French is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance modeling campaigns through CFD and flight tests up to aircraft certification.
• Coordinate technical deliverables across Aerodynamics disciplines with project stakeholders.
• Develop accurate aerodynamic prediction methods for future concepts and configurations.
• Enhance existing models using flight-test data and high-fidelity CFD simulations.
• Deploy ML/AI methods to accelerate aerodynamic trade studies and design iterations.
