Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France, seeks an Aerodynamics Engineer to design the next generation of commercial aircraft, develop innovative architectures and propulsion technologies, and perform aerodynamic characterization across programmes, from early design to wind-tunnel and flight testing.

You will lead CFD campaigns, update models with flight-test data, apply ML for faster design iterations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance and security

Formación

• Background in Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid technical background in aerodynamic modeling, flight mechanics, and CFD methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python programming with exposure to data science and ML/AI.
• Proven leadership with decision-making, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Advanced English (written and spoken); French is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and eligibility for security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead performance modeling campaigns through CFD and flight tests up to aircraft certification.
• Coordinate technical deliverables across Aerodynamics disciplines and align with project stakeholders.
• Develop accurate aerodynamic performance prediction methods for future aircraft concepts and configurations.
• Continuously enhance existing aircraft models using flight-test data and high-fidelity CFD simulations.
• Deploy ML and AI methods to accelerate aerodynamic trade studies and design iterations.
