Job summary

Maki is offering a Workplace & Security Engineer Intern role in Paris. You will design, automate, and secure internal systems—from provisioning laptops and access management to enforcing controls that protect people, devices, and data.

You’ll build automation to remove manual tasks and scale operations as the company grows. You’ll deploy and harden the macOS fleet through MDM, manage identity and access controls, and contribute to security processes that meet certifications and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must be finishing studies (Bac+4/Bac+5) in IT, CS, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Solid understanding of operating systems and networking, with exposure to security fundamentals.
• Experience with scripting to automate tasks (Python, Bash or similar).
• Proficient in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate IT and security operations to scale with the company, reducing manual work.
• Deploy and harden the macOS fleet via MDM including enrollment and security baselines.
• Own identity and access management across tools with onboarding/offboarding workflows and least-privilege access.
• Define and maintain workplace and security processes meeting certifications and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor environments, run vulnerability assessments, and drive remediation.
• Handle cross-domain support requests and resolve recurring issues.
