Maki in France is seeking a Security Engineer Intern to contribute to product security and build security tooling in our CI/CD processes. You will run tests on applications and tackle AI security challenges, enhancing our security stance.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Bac+4/Bac+5 in Computer Science, have hands-on security experience, and are proficient in coding with Python, Go, or TypeScript. Join us for a collaborative team experience with mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• You are finishing your studies in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• You have hands-on exposure to security in applications, cloud, or infrastructure.
• You can read and write code in Python, Go, or TypeScript.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to product security, handling data and designing features.
• Build security tooling and automation in CI/CD and IaC pipelines.

As a Security Engineer Intern, you'll work across our full stack - product, infrastructure, and processes - to build security controls and shape how we do security at Maki.

What You'll Work On

• Contributing to product security - from how we handle data to how we design and ship features
• Building security tooling and automation in our CI/CD and IaC pipelines
• Running code analyses and intrusion tests on our applications and infrastructure
• Working on AI security challenges firsthand - including protecting our Voice AI services against prompt injection
• Supporting Maki in achieving security certifications and meeting customer and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• You're finishing your studies (Bac+4/Bac+5) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• You have solid knowledge in computer science, including hands‑on exposure to at least one area of security - whether that's application, cloud, or network and infrastructure
• You're comfortable reading and writing code - Python, Go, or TypeScript preferred
• You know how to communicate clearly, take a step back when needed, and work openly with the people around you
