Maki is seeking a Security Engineer Intern to impact product security, tooling, and processes across the stack. You will help secure data handling, design secure features, and automate security checks in CI/CD and IaC workflows.

You will gain hands-on experience in code review, intrusion testing, and AI security challenges, while collaborating with a small, supportive engineering team and mentors who care about doing things properly.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge in computer science with hands-on exposure to at least one area of security — application, cloud, or network/infrastructure.
• Comfortable reading and writing code in Python, Go, or TypeScript.

Responsabilités

• Contributing to product security across data handling, design, and feature shipping.
• Building security tooling and automation in CI/CD and IaC pipelines.
• Running code analyses and intrusion tests on applications and infrastructure.
• Addressing AI security challenges, including protecting Voice AI services against prompt injection.
• Supporting Maki in achieving security certifications and meeting customer/regulatory requirements.

As a Security Engineer Intern, you\'ll work across our full stack — product, infrastructure, and processes — to build security controls and shape how we do security at Maki.

What You\'ll Work On

• Contributing to product security — from how we handle data to how we design and ship features
• Building security tooling and automation in our CI/CD and IaC pipelines
• Running code analyses and intrusion tests on our applications and infrastructure
• Working on AI security challenges firsthand — including protecting our Voice AI services against prompt injection
• Supporting Maki in achieving security certifications and meeting customer and regulatory requirements

What We\'re Looking For

• You\'re finishing your studies (Bac+4/Bac+5) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• You have solid knowledge in computer science, including hands-on exposure to at least one area of security — whether that\'s application, cloud, or network and infrastructure
• You\'re comfortable reading and writing code — Python, Go, or TypeScript preferred
• You know how to communicate clearly, take a step back when needed, and work openly with the people around you
