Alignerr is seeking a detail‑oriented Search Quality Evaluator to help ensure AI-powered search results are accurate and useful. This fully remote hourly contract role suits self‑motivated individuals with strong critical thinking and excellent written English.

You'll assess search results, rate AI-generated answers and content recommendations, and provide clear explanations to support your ratings. Flexible hours are available.

We're looking for Search Quality Evaluators to assess search engine results, AI-generated answers, and content recommendations — helping ensure that the AI powering modern search is accurate, relevant, and genuinely useful.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong critical thinking and a sharp eye for quality. No technical background or prior AI experience required — just a reliable internet connection and a commitment to doing good work.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate search engine results for relevance, accuracy, and overall usefulness
• Rate AI-generated answers and content recommendations using structured evaluation rubrics
• Compare multiple search results and rank them by quality and appropriateness
• Provide clear, concise written explanations to support your ratings
• Work through task-based assignments independently at your own pace

Who You Are

• Comfortable using search engines and navigating the web with confidence
• Able to assess content quality and relevance objectively and consistently
• Detail-oriented with a systematic, methodical approach to tasks
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No technical, AI, or search industry experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in research, journalism, editing, or content evaluation
• Experience with quality assurance, fact-checking, or critical analysis
• Familiarity with AI tools or search platforms as an everyday user
• Broad general knowledge across a variety of topics and subject areas
