Pierre Fabre Laboratories in Toulouse seeks a Scientific IT Service Manager to orchestrate IT services supporting our R&D and Medical Care teams. You will manage deployment, maintenance, and support of scientific applications and data infrastructure to enable robust scientific work.

The role requires 5+ years in IT service management within pharma, strong SDLC and ITIL knowledge, and English at C1. Flexible hybrid telework up to 2 days weekly after probation, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology / Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field is non-negotiable.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT service management within a scientific or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of scientific workflows, data management, and laboratory systems.
• Strong exposure to SDLC management is a must.
• Experience with scientific applications (e.g., LIMS, ELN, EDCs, eTMF) and cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL Concepts and Agile methodologies is a must. ITIL V4, PSPO-I / II certifications are nice to have.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow and other agile/ticketing tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of GLP, GCP, and other relevant compliance frameworks is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: English C1 level is a must.

Responsabilités

• Manage lifecycle of scientific IT services including deployment and maintenance.
• Oversee configuration, updates and troubleshooting of scientific applications.
• Own releases of products and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Serve as liaison between Lab Managers and Corporate IT.
• Engage with R&D users to gather feedback and drive adoption.
• Monitor service performance and handle incidents.
• Coordinate with internal and external IT teams for security/compliance.
• Ensure data governance and regulatory compliance (GLP, GCP).
