For our Site we are looking for a driven and passionate Scale Up Engineer to join our dynamic team !

This role is based in Colmar. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

What you’ll do:

Investigate innovative settings, defined by R&D, based on pilot scale trials linked to new products and/or equipment development:

Apply understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles, to propose and run the required testing to meet the short-term project targets for new products scale up

Support planning and execution of scale up trials

Propose and adjust test set ups in order to manufacture new products in a pilot or industrial environment

Recommend troubleshooting actions to improve safety, quality and productivity during the test phase in industrial environment

Suggest new process parameters/equipment developments to progress against project targets using available data and gathered learning

Manage knowledge transfer

Support defining training requirements and provision of training material including all EHS and Quality requirements for process engineers, maintenance mechanics and colleagues in utilities

Assist the transfer and scale up of new processes and technologies to the manufacturing plants

Work practices

Maintain accurate and timely records to appropriate quality standard for self, prepares high quality technical analyses and reports for internal use.

Contribute and show good example of continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

Master or PhD Engineering (Mechanical or Process preferred)

Experience in the food industry is preferred

Proficient in English and French

Effective communicator and collaborator, ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
