Aerospacelab in Toulouse seeks a DSP Engineer to design and implement DSP architecture for satellite telecom constellations and to develop SDR-based solutions.

You will design and optimize DSP algorithms including modulation, demodulation, filtering, synchronization and channel estimation, collaborate with FPGA, SW and network teams, and support the full development lifecycle from requirements to validation in a fast-paced space environment.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DSP or telecommunication systems.
• Knowledge of software-defined radios (SDR) and digital signal processing (DSP).
• Strong experience with scripting language (e.g. Python).

Responsabilités

• Design and implement DSP architecture for satellite telecommunication constellations
• Design and implement DSP algorithms for modulation, demodulation, filtering, synchronization, channel estimation, and error correction.
• Develop SDR-based communication systems using development platforms (USRP, Etthus, ...)
• Design modulation, coding, and multiplexing techniques for reliable satellite links.
• Support all aspects of the development chain: requirements, architecture, design, manufacturing, integration, test, operations
• Work with strong interactions with various teams (mainly FPGA, SW, network).
• Support design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance
