Aerospacelab in Toulouse seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development of onboard software for satellites. You will work within an agile team on unit firmware and satellite applications, collaborating with hardware and EE/FPGA engineers to deliver robust software for multiple unit types.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience with C and Python programming in embedded software.
• Experience developing embedded software in Linux environments.
• Experience with real time operating systems (preferably FreeRTOS).
• Strong debugging, optimization and unit testing skills.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and layouts.

Responsabilités

• Closely working with hardware and system engineers to design and build unit firmware and high level satellite applications.
• Producing high quality flight SW components following the development flow established at Aerospacelab (requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing and maintenance).
• Supporting the definition of the satellite system architecture.
