Aerospacelab in Toulouse is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunication Engineer to contribute to the design and analysis of satellite communication systems. You will work on RF link budgets, modulation techniques, and integration with cross-disciplinary teams to meet mission requirements.

Ideal candidates have an MSc/PhD in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, 3+ years in telecom/RF, knowledge of DVB standards, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in telecommunication systems, RF electronics or antennas.
• Knowledge of DVB-S2X, DVB-RCS2, 5G standards.
• Ability to work autonomously across teams and drive projects.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze satellite communication systems to meet requirements.
• Develop RF link budgets and perform performance assessments.
• Design modulation, coding, and multiplexing for reliable links.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams on architecture.
• Support development chain from requirements to test and operations.
• Execute in-lab testing and on-orbit validation with RF tools.
• Coordinate with external providers to review designs and test approaches.
