Aerospacelab in Toulouse, France, is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design and optimize RF systems for satellite telecom payloads. You will support the full development chain from requirements to integration, and lead in-lab testing and on-orbit validation with multiple engineering teams.

The role requires a MSc/PhD in related fields, 3+ years in telecom/RF, and hands-on experience with RF test equipment and simulation tools such as HFSS/ADS. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in electrical/telecommunication/aerospace engineering required.
• 3+ years in telecom systems, RF electronics or antennas.
• Experience with RF simulation tools HFSS or ADS.
• Hands-on RF testing with spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
• Ability to work autonomously across teams and drive multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsabilités

• Design and optimize RF systems and components for satellite telecom payloads (transponders, antennas, SSPA, frequency converters).
• Support all aspects of the development chain: requirements, architecture, design, manufacturing, integration, test, operations.
• Develop test plans that ensure adequate testing of units and the complete system.
• Work on RF/telecommunication spacecraft architecture with mechanical, electrical, software, and FPGA teams.
• Support design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance.
• Collaborate with external providers to review designs and develop integration/test approaches.
• Execute in-lab testing and on-orbit performance validation using advanced RF measurement tools.
