Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse seeks a Safety manager to lead RAMS activities for complex space programs. You will manage safety deliverables, coordinate a RAMS team of about five, and interface with ESA boards to ensure comprehensive safety compliance across design and operations.

The role requires deep RAMS knowledge, GNSS familiarity, and fluent English and French, with a strong focus on dependability and system safety within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• RAMS engineering processes, methods and tools.
• Experience with GNSS systems and navigation projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate RAMS activities with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Safety plan in accordance with project safety requirements.
• Lead the Safety & Dependability team (~5 persons).
• Assess validation of safety requirements across the system scope.
• Review and approve safety-related deliverables.
• Interface with ESA and participate in Safety Boards.
