AFV Acciaierie Beltrame S.p.A. is seeking a Health and Safety professional reporting to the Health and Safety Manager to drive risk prevention and implement the Health and Safety policy across the site.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead awareness campaigns, supervise inspections, and collaborate with area managers to improve working conditions and safety culture. This role requires strong on-site presence and practical project leadership.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ higher education in HSE / QSE / Industrial Safety
• Substantial experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of the ISO 45001 standard
• Analytical mind, attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
• Strong on-site presence and the ability to bring people together

Responsabilités

• Report to the Health and Safety Manager and support risk prevention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and regulations across sites.
• Design and deliver health and safety inductions and awareness campaigns.
• Lead safety audits, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and update health and safety procedures and plans.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update the organization accordingly.
• Support area managers with safety issues and escalation when needed.
• Participate in CSSCT and safety committee activities and incident reviews.
• Coordinate safety improvement projects and track progress.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical traceability.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a key role in risk prevention and the implementation of the Health and Safety policy within the company. In this role, you will ensure regulatory compliance and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of working conditions.

Duties / Responsibilities

Managing the health and safety policy

• Ensuring compliance with the ISO 45001 standard
• Promoting and leading the company’s health and safety policy
• Helping to set health and safety objectives
• Designing and organising awareness-raising campaigns (occupational risks, health, etc.)
• Deliver health and safety induction sessions for new recruits
• Train and raise awareness amongst managers and operational staff regarding best practice
• Facilitate working groups and health and safety meetings
• Identify and analyse risks and assess their impacts
• Draft and implement health and safety procedures
• Monitor regulatory developments in health and safety
• Verify the compliance of prevention plans and their implementation
• Draw up specifications in line with regulatory requirements
• Analyse accidents and near-misses (cause trees, corrective actions, etc.)
• Participate in bodies such as the Health and Safety Committee (CSSCT), steering committees and incident reviews
• Implement safety improvement projects
• Carry out safety audits

Fieldwork & operational support

• Monitor compliance with rules on site and at work sites
• Support area managers with their safety issues
• Raise the alarm in the event of high-risk situations or non-compliance

Documentation and technical management

• Update the Internal Operations Plan (POI)
• Ensure the traceability of chemicals and manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
