Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Environmental Manager with a background in construction or civil engineering to provide HSE support on-site. The role involves planning, coordinating, and advising on health, safety, and environmental activities to ensure project compliance and safety.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Ensure compliance with the company's HSE system on site.
2. Develop the project-specific HSE plan and procedures aligned with client expectations and company standards.
3. Define emergency response programs, including equipment and staffing requirements.
4. Support site HSE staff in decision-making and issuing instructions.
5. Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and authorities, preparing necessary documentation.
6. Prepare monthly HSE reports and a final project report.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of the HSE plan, monitor project goals, and seek continuous improvement opportunities, reporting to management.
8. Conduct HSE audits and inspections.

Position Details

Full-time position on-site.

Requirements

• Internationally recognized qualification in HSE Management (e.g., BSC, NEBOSH, or equivalent) or a master's degree, preferably with an engineering background.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001/14001 standards.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; French language skills are an advantage.
