IDEMIA is seeking a Software Engineer to transform requirements into robust software in a global team. The role focuses on REST API design, system integration and building scalable Rust-based solutions.

You will work on diverse projects, contribute to architecture, perform code reviews, and support testing, deployment and maintenance within IDEMIA's Secure Transactions division. This role is based in France and requires strong English communication in international teams.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in REST API design and software architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Rust and its ecosystem across domains.
• Experience with system integration and scalable software.

Responsabilités

• Writes software code using programming, scripting and databases to meet requirements and optimize performance.
• Identifies reusable components, libraries and frameworks.
• Applies best practices: coding standards, secure coding, reviews, version control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Participates in requirements analysis and estimations.
• Supports testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolutions by fixing defects and implementing enhancements.
• Builds software structure with functions, design patterns and layers.
• Documents solutions with comments, layouts, diagrams and charts.
• Contributes to software architecture through specs, studies and tech assessments.
• Codes large, complex modules to meet quality, deadlines and budgets.
• Performs design/code reviews and optimizes performance.
• Supports and promotes technical governance.
• Performs complex debugging and troubleshooting.
• Coaches and may lead a small SDE team.
