AIRBUS SAS in Toulouse, France, seeks a Human and Organisational Factors (HOF) Specialist in Robotics to join the HOF Center of Expertise. You will lead human factors studies, de-risk HRI solutions, and develop guidance for production sites to improve safety, efficiency, and operator wellbeing.

The role requires advanced HOF/ergonomics expertise, strong research skills, and collaboration with UX designers and robotics engineers within Agile and Waterfall frameworks.

Qualifications

• Background in Human Factors, Cognitive Ergonomics, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, or equivalent.
• Advanced English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in highly regulated industries is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead human factors studies (task analysis, usability testing, heuristic evaluations) for robotics and industrial machines.
• De-risk solutions regarding human-robot interaction, workload, situation awareness, display logic, and industrial HMIs.
• Identify HOF risks, formulate actionable design recommendations, and guide their implementation.
• Deliver high-quality reports and presentations on findings to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Develop and deliver HOF/HRI guidance, awareness sessions, and training materials for production sites.
