Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks an experienced Automation & Robotics Technical Leader to shape, develop, and deploy robotic solutions across global manufacturing operations.

You will bridge hands‑on technical execution with executive program strategy, leading cross‑functional teams through the full innovation lifecycle—from concept and V‑Model design to prototyping, validation, and industrialization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in aerospace engineering, robotics or industrial automation.
• Proven knowledge of formal PM methodologies (Airbus PPM, PMI or equivalent).
• Experience managing research projects with multi‑team budgets.
• Proven track record collaborating with external partners and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Apply Systems Architecture and governance across the lifecycle for shop‑floor robotic systems.
• Direct end‑to‑end V&V to ensure safety, quality and operational targets are met.
• Steer complex technical and research projects using Airbus PPM or PMI frameworks and manage budgets.
• Oversee prototyping, validation and industrialization for production handover to aerospace lines.
