Inbolt is seeking a Robotic Application Engineer to deploy advanced robotics and computer vision solutions in customer factories. You’ll bridge lab success to production-floor reliability, owning deployments, training teams, and ensuring system uptime across Europe.

The role requires extensive travel, hands-on project leadership, and a strong focus on code quality and tool integration with engineering teams.

As a Robotic Application Engineer, you’ll be responsible for deploying our solutions in customers’ factories and ensuring their satisfaction. You’ll work at the intersection of robotics, computer vision, and customer success — turning a working system in the lab into a reliable one on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site and off-site meetings with clients, including regular travel to customer facilities across Europe
• Own customer demonstrations, deployment projects, and technical rollouts from kickoff to go-live
• Install Inbolt systems on-site and train customer teams to operate and maintain them independently
• Deploy and monitor production systems, ensuring uptime and performance once Inbolt is live on the line
• Diagnose and resolve customer-reported issues, working closely with the engineering team to feed field learnings back into product improvements
• Document deployment processes, common issues, and fixes to build a reusable knowledge base across the team

Preferred experience

• Complete fluency in English/French. Italian/German is a bonus
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (valid passeport is needed)
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Strong project management capabilities and hands‑on understanding of robotics/computer vision
• Commitment to maintaining high code quality and stability
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities
