Northern Montana Hospital is seeking an OR RN to maintain the health and welfare of patients before, during and after surgery. The role supports the surgical team and ensures aseptic, safe care throughout procedures, with rotational call on weekends (2 out of 6).

Qualified applicants will have graduation from an accredited nursing program and Montana RN licensure, with PACU experience preferred. The position offers a discretionary sign-on bonus and benefits as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be currently licensed to practice nursing in Montana; knowledge of patient care from infant to geriatric.
• Circulating/PACU experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

About the role

$30,000 Discretionary Sign-On Bonus. Under the supervision of the Operating Room Supervisor, the OR RN maintains the health and welfare of a patient before, during and after the surgical procedure. Through assessment of the patient and procedures, the OR RN anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The OR RN is a self-motivated professional and resource person who supports the mission and nursing philosophy of Northern Montana Health Care. Rotational call including weekends, 2 out of 6, is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation of an accredited school of nursing
• Currently licensed to practice professional nursing by the Montana State Board of Nursing; and have a general knowledge of providing care to patients covering ages infant to geriatric.
• Circulating/PACU experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Salary commensurate with up to 15 years of experience.
