ARMStaffing is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee hospital operations during night shifts under the CNO/DON. This role ensures compliance with policies and coordinates age-appropriate patient care in the absence of leadership.
The ideal candidate holds RN licensure (Maine) with BSN preferred, BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months, and at least 4 years of acute care and ED experience, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and overall management of the hospital during night shifts. This role involves coordinating age-appropriate patient care activities in the absence of the CNO or DON, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and procedures outlined for the facility. The Nursing Supervisor also coordinates nursing care activities within nursing services when Unit Directors are unavailable, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and supporting the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
This is a 36-hour position with 12-hour night shifts.
