Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager for a 13-week travel assignment in Calais, ME. The role involves unit-level leadership and supervising nursing staff during night shifts.

The candidate should have Maine RN licensure, 4+ years acute care experience, and BSN preferred or in progress. Strong leadership, communication, and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine or endorsement pending.
• BSN preferred or pursuing BSN.
• Minimum 4 years of acute care experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage care during night shifts.

Responsabilités

• Provide unit-level leadership under the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing; supervise nursing staff in the absence of Unit Directors.
• Coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities per standards, policies and procedures.
• Manage nursing operations to support efficient delivery of care across nursing services.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in age-appropriate patient care using the nursing process.
• Exhibit leadership and communication skills with conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Function independently and respond rapidly in emergencies.
