Responsabilités

• Provide unit-level leadership under the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing; supervise nursing staff in the absence of Unit Directors.
• Coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities per standards, policies and procedures.
• Manage nursing operations to support efficient delivery of care across nursing services.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in age-appropriate patient care using the nursing process.
• Exhibit leadership and communication skills with conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Function independently and respond rapidly in emergencies.

Weekly pay: $2,230 to $2,398 per week | Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide unit-level leadership under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing, supervising nursing staff in the absence of Unit Directors.
• Coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities in accordance with facility standards, policies, and procedures.
• Manage nursing operations to support efficient delivery of care across the nursing services.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values in daily practice.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in age-appropriate patient care using the nursing process.
• Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, with effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Function independently and respond rapidly and effectively in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in the State of Maine or authorization to practice pending licensure by endorsement.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred or willing to obtain BSN.
• Minimum 4 years of acute care experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage care during night-shift operations.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred; or current RN pursuing BSN.
