Amazon is seeking to hire an experienced, innovative, and customer-obsessed individual for the position of FR Last Mile and Prime Now Facilities Engineering Manager. This person will bring innovation to our last mile delivery network. As a member of the FR Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing 4 to 5 existing and future sites in France, focusing on engineering and facilities to meet high customer experience standards.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and responsibility for 4 to 5 sites in all aspects of engineering, facilities, management, and performance via KPIs.
• Oversee maintenance of buildings and facilities across multiple sites, including developing, managing, and auditing maintenance contracts with subcontractors (Facilities Management).
• Support engineering operations for delivery and sorting.
• Manage equipment engineering, including specification, procurement, and maintenance systems (conveyors, sorting, identification, etc.).
• Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives, managing both technical implementation and process enhancements.
• Define communication and execution of technical and facilities requirements, collaborating with operations, capacity planning, and other teams to develop operational requirements.
• Promote efficiency improvements through process design and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon's safety policies and work with the safety team to improve on-site safety.
• Understand and ensure adherence to industry standards such as QS 9000, ISO 9002, ISO 14001, and LAPS.
• Apply and share best practices with European counterparts.
• Collect, review, and present weekly performance data.

Basic Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent with foundational knowledge in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• Strong analytical skills, team management, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in French and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of at least one other EU language (German, Spanish, or Italian) is desirable.
