Alan is hiring for a Risk & Internal Control professional to design end-to-end control programs in a fast-growing, multi-jurisdiction environment. You will partner with product, operations and legal teams to build scalable, AI-enabled controls that protect members’ interests and ensure regulatory compliance.

Based in Paris with remote flexibility, you’ll help expand risk practice across France, Belgium, Spain and Canada, mentoring junior colleagues and driving continuous improvement of control

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in internal control or a risk function in insurance/big four or regulated fast-growing environments.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Solid understanding of Solvency II and related domain expertise in insurance operations, reserving, underwriting or reporting.
• Comfort with AI and automation tools to scale controls.
• Builder’s mindset; enjoy creating differentiated solutions beyond established processes.
• Business-partner attitude; collaborate with product teams to solve control issues.
• Written-first and rigorous working style; aligns with async communication culture.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement control frameworks across processes, enabling reliability and scalability with AI and automation.
• Strengthen identification and monitoring of risks; co-build next-generation risk tooling.
• Perform second-level reviews on high-risk areas.
• Document controls and communicate results to third-party partners.
• Support audits from commercial partners and supervisors.
• Expand risk management reflexes throughout the company and assist teams to design action plans.
• Create resources to raise awareness and empower teams in risk management and compliance.
• Support hiring of new talents for the team.
