Job summary

Alma is seeking a Risk & Fraud Officer in Lille to join the Consumer Risk team. You will be at the front line of fraud prevention, reviewing hundreds of transactions daily, and making informed decisions to approve, block, or request documents.

The role requires rigorous investigation, autonomous decision-making, and strong written communication in French and English. Hybrid work with two remote days per week is offered, with occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• You are rigorous and investigative and follow every case until you understand it.
• You can make autonomous decisions using analysis and established procedures.
• You have a genuine interest in fraud prevention and fintech.

Responsibilities

• Investigations & fraud detection: analyze alerts, identify fraud patterns, and determine actions.
• KYC & compliance controls: verify documents, check PEP and sanctions, perform quality checks.
• Monitoring & reporting: produce fraud trend reports and improve control processes.
• Cross-team collaboration: work with Fraud & AML, Customer Operations, and Alma teams.
