ixolabs.ai is seeking RF/electromagnetic engineering specialists to solve challenging problems in RF behavior and system design. You will work on antenna, microwave or electromagnetic projects, validate simulations and measurements, and explain design trade-offs with clear technical reasoning.

Remote assignments are possible with flexible scheduling; expect up to 40 hours per week depending on the track. The engagement offers hourly compensation and requires a strong engineering background.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with hands-on RF, antenna, microwave or EM practice.
• Knowledge of field theory, propagation, and at least one specialty (circuits, antennas, EMC/EMI, channels, radar, wireless).
• Experience with RF measurement interpretation and simulations is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review simulations and measurements for validity and relevance.
• Explain technical trade-offs and errors using RF/EM tools and methods.

Work you will do

• Develop specialist problems involving RF behavior, electromagnetic effects or relevant system design.
• Check simulation and measurement interpretations, including the assumptions that govern whether a result is meaningful.
• Explain technical errors and design trade-offs using the tools and methods appropriate to your RF or electromagnetic specialty.

Required background and routes

• Relevant engineering degree at bachelor's level or above plus hands-on RF, antenna, microwave or electromagnetic engineering practice.
• Apply field theory and propagation reasoning in at least one specialty: circuits/components, antenna systems, EMC/EMI, channels, measurement, simulation, radar, sensing or wireless systems.

Preferred background

• HFSS, CST, ADS, COMSOL or MATLAB; advanced study, millimeter-wave or microwave systems, phased arrays, MIMO, beamforming, satellite/radar/wireless work, laboratory characterization or publications.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. Availability planning can include 40 hours per week depending on the track. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

Pay and working terms

• $85 $100/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
