Jobtailor is seeking an IT support technician in Lyon to diagnose faults, install hardware, deploy software, and maintain equipment in retail environments. You will consult knowledge bases, repair devices, and provide user support to ensure smooth operation of POS systems and back-office networks.

The role requires basic networking knowledge, experience with Windows 7/10, and familiarity with Apple iOS tablets; prior POS and server OS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bac Pro to Bac+3 in computer systems and software or proven IT experience.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose faults and Malfunctions on equipment.
• Consult knowledge bases to identify solutions.
• Repair defective equipment and test at each stage.
• Install new hardware and deploy software as required.
• Create and deploy master images; perform backups and set up alert systems.
• Provide follow-up and user support for optimal operation.
• Record receipt and return of equipment dynamically.
• Place equipment orders and monitor remote stock levels.
• Track interventions in OMTI, produce reports and close tickets.
• Communicate with team leader about malfunctions, delays, or issues.
