Black & White Engineering is seeking a Resident Engineer (QA/QC) to provide site-based oversight ensuring engineering and construction activities meet project quality requirements. You will review works, identify non-conformances and support effective close-out across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in engineering, construction or project quality assurance and control.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Good understanding of inspection, quality control and issue close-out processes.
• Strong attention to detail and structured record keeping.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary project and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor engineering and construction activities against agreed quality requirements and technical information.
• Support inspections and reviews across relevant project disciplines.
• Identify, record and monitor quality issues and non-conformances through to resolution.
• Review documentation and site information for completeness and consistency.

Job description

Quality on a complex engineering project is built through consistent attention to detail throughout delivery, not simply checked at the end. As Resident Engineer (QA/QC), you will provide dedicated site-based oversight to help ensure engineering and construction activities meet agreed project quality requirements.

You will work across disciplines and alongside contractors, consultants and project teams to review works, identify non-conformances and support effective close-out. The role provides broad exposure to complex engineering delivery and the opportunity to influence the standard of the finished project.
