SSE PLC in Lyon is seeking a Team Assistant to support the Head of Country and wider European team. The role covers administrative and organisational tasks, coordinating project administration, handling invoices and POs, and liaising with stakeholders to keep projects on track.

We value proactive problem-solving, strong MS 365 skills (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent English and French communication, with a hybrid work pattern in a fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a business support, team assistant or administrative role coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Proactive approach to suggesting improvements to processes and ways of working.

Responsabilités

Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in our Lyon office.

Salary: Competitive depending on experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern:6 Months Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our European business, providing essential support to the Head of Country and the wider team. As Team Assistant, you'll help keep projects and business activities running smoothly by delivering high-quality administrative and organisational support across a varied and collaborative environment.

You will
  • Provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Head of Country and wider team.
  • Coordinate project administration, ensuring documentation and business processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage transactional activities such as invoices, purchase orders, requisitions and external resource requests.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects and day-to-day business activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working to enhance team efficiency.
You have
  • Experience in a business support, team assistant or administrative role, with the ability to coordinate effectively across a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn new systems and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English; additional European languages would be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to suggest improvements to processes and ways of working where appropriate.
