Job summary

Jobgether partners with a client seeking a Weekend Localization & Interpreting Project Manager based in France. The role is fully remote and manages a global network of freelance translators and interpreters to deliver language projects on time and on budget.

You will own the project lifecycle from planning to delivery, oversee budgets and resources, coordinate schedules, perform quality checks, and maintain proactive client communication with language professionals worldwide.

Qualifications

• Background in project management, localization, interpreting, or customer service
• Knowledge of localization and interpreting processes within a PM environment
• Practical knowledge of CAT tools such as Smartcat and memoQ
• Experience using translation management systems such as Trados
• University degree in Business Administration, Translation, or related field preferred
• Advanced written and spoken English (C1) plus another foreign language

Responsibilities

• Own the complete project lifecycle from initiation to delivery
• Evaluate costs, budgets, and quotations for clients
• Estimate resources and establish deadlines for successful delivery
• Use Plunet for time tracking and project monitoring
• Monitor progress and ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via email, phone, and chat
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues and freelancers
• Negotiate deadlines and rates with freelancers
• Build strong relationships with language professionals globally
• Manage project finances including budgeting and cost monitoring
• Perform quality checks including proofreading and final reviews
• Address freelancer questions and resolve operational issues
• Adhere to internal policies and quality standards
