Axway is seeking an International Contracts Legal Counsel to oversee, prepare, and negotiate software licenses, SaaS, cloud, and service contracts across the EMEA region in English and French. The role requires strong data protection knowledge and 8+ years in a legal department, ideally within tech.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Sales, Finance, and other functions, manage internal approval processes, and draft various contractual instruments in EN/FR.

Formación

• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 8 years in a Legal Department, ideally in a technology company.
• Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to work.
• Ability to work independently within assigned areas of responsibility while maintaining a strong team spirit.
• Solid knowledge of regulations relating to data protection and security requirements (including DORA and NIS2).
• Knowledge of Italian and/or German would be a significant advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee, prepare, and negotiate legal documentation for the EMEA region, including primarily software license agreements, SaaS and cloud agreements, service contracts, and non-disclosure agreements for Axway entities across EMEA (mainly in French and English).
• Interact with various company functions (Sales, Finance, etc.) in both English and French.
• Manage the company’s legal activities to safeguard corporate interests and advise operational teams and managers on how laws and regulations impact their respective functions (Marketing, R&D, etc.).
• Manage all documents throughout the internal legal approval process.
• Draft and review contracts proposed by customers, as well as suppliers and partners, formal agreements, and other legal instruments (primarily in English and French).
