Jobgether SRL, listed on behalf of a partner company in France, seeks a Middle Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) to own core backend systems within a mission-critical content platform. You will develop features end-to-end, leverage AI-assisted coding agents, and ensure reliability, scalability, and code quality in an international, fully remote team.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of professional backend or full-stack software development.
• Proven hands-on experience building, maintaining, and deploying production applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Two to five years of solid experience working with relational databases, SQL, and query design.
• Daily practical experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or comparable tools, including task planning, code generation, reviewing AI-generated output, and validating implementation quality.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, code maintainability, debugging, and production application development.
• Experience writing automated tests, participating in code reviews, and working with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, enhance, and develop core backend systems within the Content Platform ecosystem.
• Deliver roadmap features end to end from planning through deployment and maintenance.
• Apply an AI-first development approach to accelerate implementation and improve software quality.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote clean, maintainable code.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
