Job summary

Accuray EIMEA is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Lyon area, France, with a home-office setup. You will install, service, and maintain Accuray radiotherapy systems, perform diagnostics on site or remotely, and coordinate with hospitals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, 2 years of field service experience, strong technical skills, and willingness to travel up to 50%. Fluency in the local language and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent by experience.
• 2 years hands-on Field Service experience in electronic/medical equipment preferred.
• Good hardware and software computer skills, including basic network knowledge.
• Ability to learn new software tools quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain Accuray products at clinical sites and hospitals.
• Perform remote and on-site diagnostics prior to repair services.
• Manage scheduling and urgent customer requests to ensure high satisfaction.
• Document work activities clearly in Service software and audit records.
• Train on-site personnel and support tool/test equipment development.
