Job summary

Accuray is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Lyon area, France. You will install, service, and maintain Accuray radiotherapy systems, performing remote and on-site diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to ensure high uptime at regional hospitals.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, 2 years Field Service experience, strong hardware/software skills, and up to 50% travel with occasional non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent by experience.
• 2 years’ hands-on Field Service experience in installing and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment.
• Good hardware and software skills, including network knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work non-standard hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain Accuray products remotely, from home office, and on-site at hospitals.
• Perform remote and on-site diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
• Document work activities and maintain service records in the service software.
• Train on-site personnel and assist in development of service tools and test equipment.
• Ensure safety, quality and process adherence in all activities.
